PolygonLogix Lite · In your browser

Quote a 100-part PO before lunch.

Lite is the nesting and quoting engine from PolygonLogix, running in your browser with everything else stripped out. Drop in your DXF or DWG files, nest them on your sheets with your machine's real cutting times, and send the quote. No install, no big purchase, no long-term commitment.

Quoting by hand is where the day goes

Open the DXFs one at a time, pull up a spreadsheet, look up material, eyeball the nest, guess the pierces, add setup and margin, type it all into a document. That was our shop too.

From purchase order to quote in three steps

If you can upload a file, you can use Lite. It runs in any desktop browser on Windows or Mac, and on a tablet.

1. Drop in your parts

Upload DXF or DWG flat patterns from AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or Inventor and set quantities. Or drop the customer's purchase order (PDF, Excel, Word) and AI Parse reads the part numbers, quantities, materials and thicknesses into the quote for you.

2. Nest and price

The Logix engine nests true-shape on your sheet sizes, with the part spacing you set held on every sheet. Cutting time comes from your machine's real tech tables: feed rates, pierces and gas per material and thickness. Material is priced on the crop area, not the whole sheet.

3. Send the quote

A quote PDF with part previews, quantity price breaks and your terms, plus an order confirmation. Quotes are saved to your shop, and the nested DXF exports for your CAM software, which still handles lead-ins, kerf and cut sequencing exactly as it does today.

Everything you need to quote. Nothing you don't.

Lite is deliberately the stripped-down version. It is not a cheaper way to get the full program; it is the quoting half of it, for shops that aren't ready for the rest.

What's in Lite

  • DXF / DWG import with true-shape Logix nesting
  • Cutting time from your machine tech tables
  • AI purchase-order parsing (PDF, Excel, Word)
  • Bulk quoting with quantity price breaks
  • Quote PDF & order confirmation with your terms
  • Saved quotes, customers, materials and machines
  • Nested DXF export for your CAM
  • Export of your whole Lite shop into Standard / Pro

Only in Standard / Pro

  • IGES / STEP / SVG import, STEP unfolding & assembly separation
  • Embedded CAD editor
  • Cut paths with lead-ins, tabs and machine posting
  • Production tracking and job status
  • Inventory and remnant tracking
  • Your data on your own machine

Inches today; metric is on the roadmap. A drawing made in millimetres is scaled to inches when you import it.

Lite grows into Standard and Pro

Your customers, materials, machines, tech tables and saved quotes export from Lite in one file and import straight into the desktop program. Nothing is re-entered.

Standard · $6,500 once

Everything in Lite plus IGES, STEP and SVG import, STEP unfolding, and the embedded CAD editor for fixing geometry before it nests. A perpetual license on your own machine, with your data on your own disk.

Pro · $9,500 once

Standard plus cut paths with lead-ins and tabs, machine post-processors, production tracking and inventory with remnants. The full purchase-order-to-machine-code workflow.

The move is one export

Questions before you sign up

What happens after the free trial?

Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your account converts to the plan you picked and the card on file is charged. Cancel before day 7 and there is no charge at all. We email a receipt for every charge.

How do I cancel?

From the Subscription page in your account, which opens the billing portal. Two clicks, no email, no call. Lite stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.

Will it work with my files?

Lite reads DXF and DWG from AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, FreeCAD and the other standard CAD tools. Block references are expanded for you. IGES, STEP and SVG are Standard and Pro only.

Where does Lite fit in my workflow?

Between your CAD and your CAM. You export flat parts as DXF, Lite nests and prices them, and you take the nested DXF into your existing CAM software, which still handles lead-ins, kerf compensation and cut sequencing exactly as it does today. Nothing about your machine setup changes.

What machines does it work with?

Fiber and CO₂ lasers, plasma, waterjet and routers. Cutting time comes from your own tech tables, so the quote reflects your machine, not a generic one. If your machine reads DXF, it works with Lite.

Is it inches or metric?

Inches today. Metric units and a multi-language interface are on the roadmap for the whole PolygonLogix line. A drawing in millimetres is scaled to inches on import.

What happens to my files and data?

They stay yours. Files are transferred over encrypted HTTPS, processed to compute the nest and the quote, and never shared or used for anything else. Your shop's data lives on our servers while you subscribe; you can export it or delete your account at any time. See the Lite privacy policy.

Is it the same engine as the desktop program?

Yes. Lite runs the same Logix true-shape nesting engine and the same tech-table pricing math as Standard and Pro. The parts of the desktop that are missing are the ones that need a desktop: the CAD editor, cut paths, posting, production and inventory.

“I run a fab shop. I'm the programmer, the operator, the estimator and the guy sweeping the floor at the end of the shift, and quoting was eating my days. The enterprise platforms were $10,000 and built for a shop with a dedicated programmer. The cloud quoting tools stopped at the quote. Lite is the quoting half of what I built for my own shop, at a price a three-person shop can justify. Try it on your own parts and email me what's missing. I read every message.”
